i just orderd a chinook 4

I like the look of the old Chinook. It's meant to be beefy. The Chinook 4 just didn't look right. it's too... skinny...

The Tighe Stick, not to take away from the Chin, is on a whole different level. Just look at those scales and blade, just plain weird compared to the Chin, love it. Double bevel blade and a ton of titanium and a MSRP of almost $500. OP really take notice when I take that out to clean my fingernails, but the Chin gets more carry time. Gotta have a knife to fit the mood, right?

Very pretty, I like it.
If the Chinook 4 only were ridiculously thick behind the edge, or only had a flimsy pivot screw, I’d carry it all the time. Together it’s too much.
To console myself I ordered a large aluminum Espada. If that thing is flimsy I’ll toss my whole collection in the ocean and never touch a knife again.

The only problem with the Stick is - well - that it sticks. At least my two copies do, much like my K2s. Spyderco is not good at Ti on Tang interfaces.

I don't notice any sticking, can you clarify the sticking. My ATR has no sticking either(that I can detect anyway).

Lock-stick. Difficult to close the knife with the thumb, have to use my index finger. That's just an issue on my Spyderco RIL knives without SS lock interface (Military and Advocvate a very smooth, K2 and Stick aren't). The ATR has a different lock, correct ?

Yes different lock, my mistake I thought you meant the Ti was the troublemaker.
