^ I'm inclined to agree, the fixed blade looks nicer to me, although both are very pretty knives and I love them both to pieces. I miss the custom shop options for them.

Thank you, Raylas and your well wishes are appreciated regardless of your beliefs. The type of cancer is/was colon cancer. They performed major surgery to remove a section of the large intestine, along with about 15 lymph nodes, one of which was cancerous as well. I will be going onto chemo therapy next month for about six months, which should finish off the remaining hair that I have. All in all, I have a positive attitude and a firm belief that I will prevail.

Thank you, imafritz. Yes, I have had that avatar for some time. I have used others for short periods, but just like my Buck knives, I keep coming back to the best. I have a reasonable collection of other brands, but nothing beats my Buck knives for enjoyment of use. :thumbup:

Thank you, Dave. I am sorry to hear of your mom and father. My dad passed some twelve years ago due to cancer, yet my mom is a cancer survivor at ninety.
