as some of you may have known, yesterday (sunday) was my 30th birthday.. :foot: it was a long weekend, we had a big bash all day saturday, with a cool local band and all..
and we spent the day on sunday with my family...
anyhow, my father in law had told me on saturday, that my present was in the mail.. i was wondering what it could be.. he's a cool guy and i am still getting in trouble, for turning him into a knife and archery junkie... so i figured it would be something cool...
he and his wife just stopped by and he gave me my present, it was a NIB BARK RIVER BRAVO-1, IN ANTIQUE IVORY MICARTA man oh man is this thing nice... i have wanted one of these knives, since they came out.. now i truly know what all the hype is about.. i love it.. it feels great in the hand.. the edge is wicked sharp and the scales are just too cool...
i just thought i would share my joy, with you folks.. the misses, even though she loves knives, just doesn't understand..
i'll try and get some pics up soon... i actually either need to make a sheath for it, or buy one, because i'm not too stoked off the kydex it came with... it'll do just fine for now...

the scales on this antique ivory micarta are ao cool... it almost looks like bamboo or some other kind of wood...
