Hello All,
Just walked in the door from Blade Show 2007 and it was a great show. I had a very enjoyable time getting together with old friends and meeting tons of new one's as well.

I have pics, info and will answer questions tomorrow AM. I know everyone is excited about the Rat-Man-Du and it was a big hit at the show.

I'll post the pics and try to answer all the questions tomorrow.

I'm off to bed as it has been a hectic 4 days.

:D:D

Go to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep my young friend
and catch some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ's..
We will all be chatting and looking for Pics and Stuff later in the morning!.:)

Slacker!! ;)

Actually, Eric rocked at the show! The most polite guy you'll ever meet (I'll never admit that again, Porkerson!) but he kept getting pulled in all directions. He worked hard to make everything go well and tried to talk to everyone. He made a hilarious speech at the Rat Induction that had the infestation of rats rolling!

You guys are going to dig the Ratmandu! It's a sweet blade in a classic utility/slicer size. Still a very different blade, but it somehow puts me in the mind of a Desert Jack. At least more so than any other released Rat.

Honestly, a set of Ratmandus would make wicked steak knives!

Get some sleep, Eric. I'm getting off at my exit now. The Waverly ended laaaaaaaate for me and then I hung with Terry in Nashville for a couple of hours this afternoon.

PS- tell Bria "thanks" for the lanyards and survival bracelet - AWESOME WORK!!

Thank you for the very kind words. I truly appreciate them and all the help you gave me this weekend (greeting, running to find lost knives, watching the booth, etc....) I'm glad you made it home safely as well.

I honestly enjoy the Blade show more than you could believe and it is because of the great customers that the Busse Family has. I enjoyed speaking with each and every person I met at the show.

Thanks again and here are a couple of pics to get the show started ;)

Here are some of the color combo's of the RatManDu

More to come later..... ;)

Pics look cool, actually I'm drooling.

How does it look with the Ratmandu, is it coming into the store with different colours or standard black on black.

Is there anything left for a ganza?

regards
roger

Eric, when you get some time can you post specs on the Ratmandu? Along with blade length and thickness I'm interested to know how wide edge to spine. This knife really caught my eye, too.

Finally met the Super Bully...at Blade. After seeing how hard he works, and realizing that he hardly ever sleeps, I'm not surprised he's going to need some recovery time.

He's an interesting fellow. Very positive and upbeat with a wicked sense of humor. Oh -- and did you know he sells knives?

I'm broke, but happy. Good thing Blade only comes once a year.

OP,
Great to meet you and your wife. I really enjoyed watching you two together at the HOG Trough, your wife can definitely hold her own against even the oldest HOG's. Congrats on some great knives and I look forward to seeing you again in the future

:D:D

Did my little project make it through in time? If not i have some ideas. :)

Eric.........

It was a pleasure to finally meet you. Thanks for taking so much time up talking to me and making me feel like one of the Rats. :D

You made my first Blade show one to remember ...... can't wait until next year now since I know the ropes a little better.

Talk to you soon.

Rod,
Great to meet you as well. I enjoyed talking to you and look forward to next year already. I'd hoped you could make it to the Induction Dinner but I understand how hard it is with your wife's schedule and the family.

I look forward to seeing you again next year and hope you can make the dinner then.

:D:D

I always like size comparison photos and here is the Ratmandu and the Badger Attack for size comparison. I love this knife. Eric great to finally meet you and the other RATS!!!
