First reply...That's the first that came to mind.

I want reach, tough, and one hand operation. From what I own: SOG Spec Elite II (5" blade), BM 810, BM Bedlam, 0560.

I'm leaning towards the Boker Plus Kalashnikov 101. I can't think of many other reasons to carry one, except to wade into a mob of the undead.

Probably would go with my ZT 0200... Especially since I already have it and carry it daily, I can open, close, and manipulate it one handed without looking...

What about the Cold Steel Ti-Lite, with 6 inch blade. It looks great to use on those red eye sockets. I don't own one, and I have never faced a zombie... so it's just speculation

I have the 6 inch, aluminum version. This knife it what came to my mind first. It is so awesomely impractical for any normal uses, but....... it would fit nicely in an eye socket, or ear canal. :D Very fast to deploy and STRONG. Maybe Cold steel would be kind enough to demonstrate with a sim-head.;)

Benchmade 710-1401. Great Lock, easily deployed, Pointy, longer blade, good edge retention, and a strong steel so no worries of the tip breaking.

KaBar BK2 is my choice for fixed blade...
Benchmade Adamas 275BK for the folder...

That's my .02

Fixed blade: KABAR Swabbie or Cold Steel Chaos, depending on the situation.
Folder: Cold Steel Voyager, XL Tanto.

Probably my Buck 110. My ADV Butcher would definitely be making the trip but for the sake of this conversation the 110 is well suited for many situations.

Get the right tool for the job is what I've been taught ... LOL!

I watch TWD regularly but I always wonder if a knife would really penetrate a zombie skull that (seemingly) easily. The temple stabs maybe but right head on? Only way I could reason this is if the 'zombification' process somehow weakened the bone structure in the body.
