I know everyone has one... but...

Just got my all black Tenacious in last week. There's a couple things I noticed different from my older Tenacious.
1) The G10 scales are really grippy compared to my old Tenacious and my friend's old Resilience. 2) The jimping on the thumb ramp is much sharper compared to my old Tenacious and my friend's old Resilience. My friend bought a new Resilience because he lost his old one. When his new one that I ordered for him arrived, I noticed the difference right away. His new Resilience also has sharper jimping and rougher G10 scales. I wonder if it's just a new batch or if Spyderco made any improvements/changes. Anyways, here's some Spydie porn....

NO tenancious here, but I gifted my Father one for this past Christmas. I do own an ambitious though:

Sal says that they are testing a new tenacious with better steel and G-10 that will still be made in china but I will be all over it. I keep wanting to buy a Para military 2 but I just dont see the need when I have this tenacious. I absolutely love it, and so will you. I am going to buy some more just to keep in vehicles and around the house. At 30$ you just cant find a better knife from any other manufacturer.

The Tenacious and the Paramilitary 2 are kinda similar... BUT, the PM is totally worth it. I really love the Tenacious, but the Para2 is like my grail knife..I'm having a hard time believing that I'll like a knife more. The Tenacious was my first Spyderco, and it did indeed make me addicted.. now I have (in order of acquisition) Tenacious, Delica4, Centofante3, Endura, Sage1, and Para2... it's getting pretty respectable..

I have two for practicing knife mods and such on. I can't stand carrying them. The blade retention sucks on these. Hopefully the next model will fix this.
