I believe this was a staple,popular model for a lot of the old cutlery companies. Not too many of the traditional knife making companies offer this in their line anymore. You can do a lot with a knife like that besides wear a hole in your pocket.

Well, I got a call from AG's. Somebody else bought it before me.

I have a Case single bladed folding hunter that my grand father scratched our initials into and he gave to me.

I don't know about single blade versions, but Rough Rider and Marbles both have a nice two blade version for not a lot of green.
I’m not sure I even understand what would be crazy. Do you think it’s too many of the same knife or something? None of them are even the same brand. Even if they were the same brand they’re still all different. Different covers, blade shapes even, handle shapes. You need all those knives my friend. You might want backups too in case anything happens to them.

Just because you do not have one and you can get a lot of knife for not a lot of money . I know for a fact that a Western like that is a heck of a knife .Crazy? No way.
(Eccentric? Maybe.)
But I've never had a folding hunter, probably because of the size. Please convince me why I should change my mind and give one a try.
