I know Sebenza blades are not swappable etc etc, but i can't resist.

That is the exact knife I want too...soon as the exclusive runs out, a Classic will be sent to CRK to get fit for sure! For know though, I'm "roughing it"....

Did I mention that I LOVE INSINGO'S!

pj551016: "Although the tolerances of CR products are tight, they still need to be hand fitted to pick and match the blade/handle slabs to make sure that everything is within specs. Since there always exist slight variances from blades to blades, and from lockbars to lockbars."

This means that if a blade needs replacing, they need to search their stock to hand match the new blade to the existing set of scales someone sends in for repair?

This must not be easy in particular due to wear, etc. In any case its interesting. :)

That is absolutely correct. I can attest to this personally, and it is one of the reasons I keep coming back to CR Knives.

btw - Mr. Fooj carries much more esteem than I ever will ;)

That does rock.

What I like is that when I call them, they actually answer the phone. No run-around. :)

As dumb as it may sound, its very impressive to me when a company gets the small stuff right. To me it means the big stuff must be right, otherwise how could they pay attention to the small stuff.

Very nice.

BTW, thanks for letting me post off topic. :)
