has anyone here ever built their own etching machine? i'd like to build one from Bob Warners instructions, so if anyones made one like that...post pics or links to the etches if you can.

It is really only a matter of enough DC current at a minimum voltage (12 to 24 V. as I understand). They say AC is beneficial in turning the etch dark. From what I have learned from this forum over the months a minimum of 3 amps at 12 volts should be adequate.

As one with an extensive electronics background, rusty as it may be by now, I would trust Bob's design. I have looked at it several times and it is solid in design and theory.
