Squeeze me baby, 'till the juice runs down my leg,
Squeeze me baby, 'till the juice runs down my leg,
I never found out what kind of juice it was. Anyway, it sounds very erotic.
Would’ve loved to attend one of their concerts, unfortunately was born a year before they formed in 69.. a little late to the party. Was hoping they’d tour after reunion gig in 2007, not meant to be.I saw Led Zeppelin live when I was almost 16 years old. The band broke up that same year following the death of drummer John Bonham.
Saw Allison Krauss and Robert Plant at Radys Shell in 2022, the harmonies they achieved was impressive. And now Robert Plant croons with Alison Krauss. (And quite nicely, I might add.)
I saw the Stones, Janis Joplin, B.B. King and Ike & Tina Turner at MSG when I was 17. That's quite a lineup for one show.
Saw Black Sabbath at the Fillmore East when I was an older man of about 19. LOL
But straight ahead (hard bop) jazz, and blues are my true musical loves, despite eclectic tastes.
I've seen B.B. a few times. Once down in Miami at an outdoor show when storms came in, and by the time he had to stop playing, only my wife and I were left in the audience. That Show at MSG..wow, to see BB King live must’ve been amazing!
His tone and style was so unique!!I've seen B.B. a few times. Once down in Miami at an outdoor show when storms came in, and by the time he had to stop playing, only my wife and I were left in the audience. (Bayfront Park)
That show had some other great talents. Junior Wells, as well as Buddy Guy.
I just listened to some songs, really nice. And now Robert Plant croons with Alison Krauss. (And quite nicely, I might add.)
Cool band!Today something completely different: Kurt Hauenstein with his project Supermax (please don't confuse it with the prison). The studio music was a fusion of various musical styles, but live Supermax was quite different—a mix of rock, reggae, funk, and more. Unfortunately, Supermax was often underestimated, and major live success largely eluded them. However, Supermax did perform once at Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica. More than just a respectable showing, in my opinion. I had the privilege of seeing Kurt Hauenstein with Supermax at a festival in the early 1980s. I was captivated!
