Just ran across this and remebered this thread, since I think this type of shape is useful for knives used outside of the kitchen, too.
"Glen Waters Camping Deba" made by one of the companies that comprise Seki-Cut. Made with several choices for handle wood, can be had with San Mai blade. Incl. leather sheath. Maybe less belly than you are thinking of.
Lower down the page is this, but it has a chisel grind (but likely on the correct side!), which I think is better suited to a dedicated kitchen knife, not a utility blade. Nice looking though.
Seki-Cut has a site too, but my old browser chokes on it.
I just ran across those too. I got the new AG Russell catalog and saw the Lum Encounter in it and when I did a search I went to the Seki Cut Page and saw those. I thought about posting them here, but I forgot...
