Hello everyone, I am sitting here drinking my coffee while playing with my new BAD and I though I should share. I LOVE this blade, I wish I had tried one out before, thanks to everyone who chimed in on my other thread looking for an EDC, and thanks to Guyon . The handle is just right for my hand, great shape and grip texture. This thing is a crazy little slicing machine! Now I know I already need another one (thanks for all the teaser pics back a few months ago Jaxx) , maybe a 2007 SE,but I really want something with snake on it....... a slippery slope indeed.

Now if I could only get one with no choil...

Cellphone pics.... One of these days I need to get a camera instead of another knife :)

I'm a big fan myself. I'd like a choiless version too but I haven't had any trouble with any of my ADs with the choil.

Mmmmmmm. Gotta love the AD, be it Heavy (x3), Off, Custom or Original (x2). Not pictured: BAD, OD & a DCBB/Black G-10.

DUTY, DUTY, DUTY, DUTY, DUTY, DUTY, DUTY

Congrats!
I've been eyeing the BAD's and AD's myself.

Can we get a spine shot of the Off Duty?

I have long maintained that the AD in it's original thickness (or now the thinnest model) is the best Busse ever made.

The AD has long been a favorite of mine - one of my first Busses was an AD

But here is the one that I am currenly in love with - she is just soooo sexy
:D:thumbup:

WOW that sure is sweet! I see a conversation with Gafth in my future. Is the top sharpened?

I agree with a lot of the love for the AD - it has my FAVORITE Busse handle by far - but, I hate with a passion the elf choil - it used to get hung up all the time and it was ultimately the reason I sold my muddy AD. Same went with my SAR3.

I think if it had no choil, or a usable choil, it would be one of the best EDC blades period.

I remember seeing a thread a looooooong time ago where someone enlarged the choil by grinding into the talon hole an ultimately removing it - it looked like perfection to me and no blade loss.... Just like the game warden hacks.

I would buy a choiless anorexic active duty without even thinking - a CHAD :D

Thanks - and no I believe its what is known as a false edge. But she is sweet indeed and very functional :)

I do love my BAD.

Elf Choil......... only part of the design I would change. My CABS and MUCK would agree!!!!!!

Don't think I have not thought of "hack-ing" my BAD and having the talon hole removed to make a big choil. At least then I could "plug the choil" with my fat sausage fingers.

Yeah...they're OK, I guess...if you're into that sort of thing.

;););) :D:thumbup::thumbup:
Still my favorite small Busse model after 5 years...!
This one's my Grail Duty...Looks thick enough to be a HD. I'm pretty sure my chances on landing it are about slim to none, but it IS a beauty, ain't it?
