I like the Active Duty

Could someone explain what's the difference between an Off Duty and an Inactive Duty?
Is the thicknesses different but same size and shape?

Off duty is about .34" thick and a full height deep hollow grind, inscribe duty is .32" saber groud with a deep hollow grind.
 
Thanks for sharing, wish they brought that one back, or similar EDC blade, perhaps with the new INFI mixture, a new EDC Busse is in the works

Not all of them... These 2 are most definitely Off Duty's.

Both are sabre ground with the deep hollow grind.

This one's my Grail Duty...Looks thick enough to be a HD. I'm pretty sure my chances on landing it are about slim to none, but it IS a beauty, ain't it? :thumbup:

Jaxx she ain't for sale. The photo was taken by the late night janitor, the first AD variant. I got it as a birthday gift from my parents around the time the AD was first released.

:eek: ...Well, I certainly can't blame ya even if it wasn't a gift, brother. :thumbup: I've always loved that AD-v since the first time I saw that pic but never knew who had it til now. If it were mine, I'd never let it go either! :D Definitely a keeper, man!

How's about some pix and specs on it? Would love to hear the details, even if it'll never leave you, brother. :):thumbup:
 
+ 1 for a CAD or CBAD. Jerry's recent production variants (Choil-less, elf choil, large choil) have left me seriously considering, at least for small and medium blades, passing on all future offerings that do not offer a choil-less option.

Mine are hollow ground. They do not have the full height grind. ;)

So the only difference is the thickness, .02" between the Off Duty and the Inactive Duty?

The original Off Duty owned by Dark Nemesis is a little thicker than all other Off Duties too, I believe. It's the one.
