I like the OCC Blur

Great. First it was shaking down the hippie coffee shops for cig money and for 2009 you've taken up knocking off banks?

Besides, I've decided that whiskey, particularly Bourbon is much better for me than caffeine. My doctor agrees, but of course, he's a goat vet:o

When you've had too much bourbon does double vision make it a menage et goat?

If you haven't tried Booker yet, pick up a bottle and thank me later. Goats not needed. :)

I didn't say anything about banks!! These days, with the economy the way it is and the banks begging for a handout, there's way more money to be had robbing second hand stores;)

Umm, no need to tell me about the Booker's:cool: Jim Beam's great nephew Noe Booker considers me his number one customer on the west coast!

I've had my fair share of Bourbon over the years!!:D

DUDE. Where is the Knob Creek and Woodford?

What knife do you want for that Newcastle dripper? :)

*nice duck and dodge on the goat love question*

Thanks for all your comments. I'm on the fence. I went put my hands on a Blur and really liked the knife except that its a little big for my edc personal taste. However it opened so nicely and from the pics I still love the look. Maybe I'll get a few more reviews before I make my final decision. Just bought a RAM, well its in the mail gets here Thursday. So I probably should wait a few more days before I buy another knife or I will be buying the wife some new shoes as well.

Thanks

Congrats on the RAM.
You're gonna love it. Make sure you get back to
us with your initial thoughts.

Sure sounds like you got a unique one. I would actually prefer the rougher grip, but that's just me.
That's 2 classic statements, written one after the other  Gotta love out of context quotes!

DH, I have a few Blurs including the OCC, and don't find it anywhere near as grippy as Trac-Tec. The texturing of the web on the scales does give some grip, but I wouldn't qualify it as rough myself either.

I just wanted to let everyone know we got some baconnaise and bacon salt, and that stuff rocks!

I love bacon and mayo...combining the two would put me in an early grave...and they sell it at my local grocery.

My doctor is gonna be upset.

That's the nice thing about...baconless bacon flavor. We made some LT's earlier (notice the B is missing?) using the baconnaise and pepper flavored-bacon flavored salt (yeah, I don't quite get that one either) and the taste was perfect. The only thing missing was the texture of real bacon.

Pork is very bad for your health. Sorry pig farmers, but it's true. Being raised and still living in southern mountains, everything here has some pork in it. My dear old mom still keeps the drippins from the bacon pan to flavor everything.

Baconnaise and Bacon Salt rule!

You sick mind, get outta here :grumpy: :foot:  :thumbdn: :p

Yeah, the trac tec sure felt rougher than the aluminum on the OCC...

well, pork bellies (aka. breakfast meats) have nitrites and are cured with salt so they become high sodium monsters but things like pork tenderloins and pork chops are incredibly lean and actually rather good for you :)

thank you alton
