I like videos... (CPK 5 Basic Field Knife)

TL;DW on the video for those like me with EXTREMELY short attention spans

"now we will be doing this destructive thing"
"dont do this destructive thing even though you could"
"why anyone would want to do this DIFFERENT destructive thing is beyond me"
"You totally could though and that's what I'm doing now"

"it still cuts stuff good"

I'm in.

At .160" vs .188", the Kephart is 85% the thickness of the FK2 and Basic Field Knife.

The 4 5/8" FK2 is 92.5% the length of the 5" Kephart and Basic Field Knife.

I'd be very curious to see, both in real world, as well as via quasi destructive testing, how much difference there might be between these.

Intuitively, one might expect the Kephart to be the better slicer, and the thicker field knives to be the more robust...but I wonder if their differences would make themselves apparent in the types of usage that one might throw at them in these various arenas.

Perhaps Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist could share his impressions having had the opportunity to beat them up in his testing ground.
