And I'm debating on whether to pick up another farmer for my edc, all around pocket knife or to go with the One Hand Trekker. What do you guys think? Is the trekker too big for everyday pocket carry?

I have both, and while the OHT is doable, I find the Farmer to be much better for pocket carry. And I'm not a tight jeans dude either :p

If you use cargos or large pocketed work clothing every day, you could probably rock the OHT. If you use jeans or slacks, I'd stick with the farmer.

ETA: Not the best pic for size ref, but you get the idea.

Another vote for another Farmer.

I often carry a OHT around the house when there's nothing else in the pocket. While it's certainly doable, a Farmer is a bit less noticeable. When I leave the house, and my pockets are crammed with all my other stuff, I always take the Farmer. Less weight and smaller size leaves room for more stuff.

Yet another vote for the Farmer. More sheeple friendly, behaves very nicely with STUFF in the pocket with it.

I was shopping for the farmer and I ran across the pioneer harvester.

It's just the like farmer but you get a cool pruning blade instead of a can opener. That curved blade should work great for a lot of things. Anyone know of where I can get another color of this besides silver?

Sorry for your lose. Hopefully it'll find it's way back to you or into the hands of someone else and it'll start their own love of SAKs.

Thanks for the pics! That helps a ton!

That blue farmer pic is making me depressed.....

The price on Amazon has gone up. You used to be able to get one for $19. Now they are $24. Some how I feel everyone on this forum is to blame.

You're welcome  Man, it's too bad they aren't selling for under $20 bucks anymore, otherwise I'd tell you to make sure to buy two next time :D

ETA: jinx! I know, it's depressing.

Tell you what J, I have a spare silver you can have if you're not set on a colored one. Shoot me an email if you want it. It's never fun to lose a great tool like that, and no W&SSer should be without his Farmer. :D

it's be nice to someone and pay it forward day... if you want, email me (email addy on the website) and i will send you a silver alox farmer.

Haha, it's W&SS: Look, LupaWolf was only two minutes behind me :) If you're down, it's yours

So I have to say this- I chat around on various outdoor/politics forums....and I've always been stunned by the people on bladforums.

From jwilliams to the rest of you, i'm always stunned by the people in this place. I don't know what it is about this place but...it just attracts good people. I'm stunned by the generosity of people in this place.

I don't even know what to say......

Random acts of generosity like this...well they just don't happen often in todays world. We have got to get a gathering of WS&S folks together.
