I lost my nicest knife!!!

I found it!!!! We were putting my son to bed and saw a spider on the ceiling.

So in order to squash it I had to move his bed.....and behind it was: My Queen Gunstock!! It must've fallen out of my pocket when I kissed him before he went to bed!

And now, a couple of pics to celebrate!

Now thats a great story, When you are a good person good thinks happen to you. ;););) Rickster ;););)

I was getting ready to note as encouragement that there are worse things in life than losing a nice knife, but it is good to see that you found it. Finding a lost knife fires off more pleasure neurons in the brain than getting it out of the mailbox in the first place, at least for me.

Seeing that sweet gunstock makes me want one. I have a Queen Canoe #64, which is the gunstock's distant cousin.

Fantastic News!!:)
You must have been so happy to see your old friend.......Enjoy:thumbup:

By the way take a look at some of the S&M Gunstock's......They are really nice...

LX, I just ordered a Queen Gunstock from a certain store that ships knives free. Heh.

As I have noted before, I am very susceptible to peer pressure. That gunstock is a great looking knife.

Here's another of the Queen #64, as a thread cannot have too many blade pics IMO. Shown with a Powernoodle favorite, the Case Baby Butterbean - which is very canoe-like.

I find it odd that I have about 35 to 40 slipjoints now, and if I lose track of one, I stop everything to look for it, as if I lost a child at Disneyland. I can say that I have not completely lost one yet, since I began obsessing a bout 1.5 yrs. back. I have misplaced them and found them in jacket pockets, under truck seat, on floor of closet, in pants, and on the front door step once. It must have fallen out when I grabbed my keys from my pocket.

I received a Queen slimline trapper and a mountain man in D2 for Christmas, and I just love this series, I may just have to get them all. I gave away the D2 canoe, but may just have to replace it. It was for my best friend, so it is in a great place. That Gunstock looks great.

I love that Gunstock, I'm extremely glad that I found it again. It was my first real step in the world of traditional blades.

I love the looks of tha canoe, but before I get that I think I'll get something long and slim first. Just to get something different.

I have decided that the next time I lose something, I'm going to look in the last place I would look for it FIRST. It's bound to be a real time saver.

Congrats on finding your knife and being a good dad to boot.

Queen makes a slimline trapper that is a great pattern. You will like it.
