• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I lost my Peanut...

Maybe if you gut some gills and post a picture of the patina, the clan's high members will consider taking you off double secret probation

I like that little guy. Lord knows why I haven't gotten a yellow nut, I love the way they look. But my chestnut bone nut is just starting to get pocket worn and is getting a natural patina...

That missing peanut will turn up. They are impossible to lose. I thought I lost mine half a dozen times but it always reappears unexpectedly.

Happened to me about a month ago, lost my texas jack and bought a yellow cv medium stockman to replace it.
Sorry to hear about your lost knife, and congrats on your first "Yeller" handled case :D

A well patined yella 'nut is like a get out of jail card. It's an automatic lifting of any probation.:D

Carl.

Glad to see you got a replacement, it's hard to move on when you loose one that means so much or that has been around a while, but the yellar one should keep you company very well.
I have a Yellar on in my pocket right now, it may not be as pretty as the chestnut bone, but when it gets a patina going, it's as classic as they come.

Here she is. The F&F isn`t as good as my old one, there are gaps between the scales and bolster, and the grinds are way off, but I still love it. Feels so good to have it in my pocket again. My first yeller CV Case.

Nice classic knife Art, Case really hit a homerun with that shade of yellow in my book. I love it.

Funny how those little flaws sometimes don't mean a thing isn't it? I've had some knives that I really liked and most of them had a little something here and there that could be considered a blemish. Besides you'll have your own edge on it soon enough anyway.

Will
