On Sat. 12/10 I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep. She was a 12 year old, 18 lb. Boston Terrier and was fiercely loyal to me. Her mind was still sharp and she was pain-free, but she could no longer walk unassisted and was quickly getting worse. I miss her terribly, and life will never be quite the same without her. Fortunately I still have her sister (her littermate), so that helps ease the pain somewhat.
It was just 5 months ago that I lost my only child to a drug overdose, my 25 year old son. 2016 will go down as my worst year ever. Losing my dog is as hard as losing my son if you have ever been really close to a dog, you will understand this. Prayers are much appreciated.
