I had a stretch of 6 bad years. My sister was dying of cancer at the same time my father was. Family is split up, my sister passed in 2011 after a five year fight, dad died in 2012 after a four year fight. However, in 2012 I met my dog when I met his mom (my ex). Turned out to be the best part of the relationship. We were pals and went everywhere together. Mom and I broke up, but I still get to see my dog from time time.

I know how you feel about your dog.

Time helps, that is the only thing. Keep both of them in your heart and you r me me and they will never be totally gone. A few drinks help temporarily but don't get carried away. Keep thinking about all the tail wags and you'll smile.

Your dog will keep you smiling your whole life.

The first dog I ever had was a Boston Terrier. That said, regardless of breed, some people get dogs and some don't. I've always been closer to my dogs than most people in my life so I feel your pain as they are part of our family. Find comfort in knowing your Pup had a great life and was lucky to have you as an owner. Prayers sent my friend and here's looking toward a better 2017 for you! Stay strong

Thoughts and prayers sent, so sorry to hear of your loss

I'm sorry for your loss man, I can't imagine... all I can say is I hope as time goes on your heart heals, and although it will be a little less whole, the pain will become more bearable. Remember you got people to talk to if you want to.

Very Sorry to hear, our prayers are with you.

.... this pretty much sums up all I could say. I am so very sorry to hear of your losses this year.

I am so terribly sorry, and my heart hurts for you.
There is nothing like the pure fierce love of our furry companions, they love you 100 percent with no reservations.
We had to put down our 14 yr old cat two weeks ago, and I feel your sorrow deeply.
My wife and I will pray for you and your family.

May God bless and comfort you.

Damn man, so sorry to hear... as a dad and a dog lover, I can only imagine just how profound your sorrow can feel. Hang in there man.
