I lost two knives in two weeks!!!

My treasured Enzo PK70 just disappeared last Sunday.
I think I might have dropped it at my son’s rugby club.
So replaced it with a Manly Wasp S90V.

I've been in this hobby for many years and I never lost a single knife until recently. A mint condition new to me GEC 14 and an almost new Chaparral LW fell out of my pants pocket one week and my jacket pocket another.

I stupidly didn't use the clip on the spydie and the GEC was in a shallow pants pocket so I can see why they ended up lost but it still friggin sucks. Such an idiot...

Just needed to vent but I would like to hear if anyone lost one that really hurt. Maybe it will make me feel better.

Hey brother wanted to let you know after about a year this lighter turned up. Helped move my best freind. We were moving things around and when we moved his couch I heard something rattling around in between the felt under the couch and the wood. Cut a small hole and there it was. Just wanted to let you know and hopefully give you a little hope.

I found an old Silverdollar tucked down in the framework of my old couch.

I also found a knife in my car one time that had been missing for over a year.

But, I can beat that, my wife and I found an M6 Bayonet in the trunk of her car. She thought I was playing a practical joke on her till I explained that I did not own that model.

Don’t give up hope.

After losing an expensive Benchmade folder that was clipped to a jeans pocket I will never use a clip to secure a knife again. All my knives now ride in a belt sheath or leather pouch in a deep jeans pocket. I use to work at an airport and I saw guys lose keyrings, knives and other tools, radios, hearing protectors and all manner of things they conveniently clipped to their belt or pants. We would have to inform the tower and close down an active runway and have a bunch of guys walk it and find whatever was lost. The guys in the tower were not amused. Neither were incoming pilots. I found a fitting once that had fallen off of a fire truck (and never reported). I took it back the the firehouse and they said "Where the HELL did you find THAT?" Out on Runway 27......... How would you like to be told that your knife was found inside an engine that costs $800,00?
