I started out big with the ZT 301 and 350, but gradually those gave way to a Spydy Dragonfly II and ZT 900. Now I've really gone down the rabbit hole with the Launch 4 and Hops....

I've never found tiny folders to be very useful, unless they're slim enough that I can use them as a money clip.

The requirements for my EDCs are so low-intensity, these work great. Plus they allow me to be super mobile, low-profile, and they complement my constantly on-the-go work schedule

I often carry my gec 14 and for urban edc tasks it's certainly enough knife for me.

My dad carrys a ss dragonfly that I gave him as his truly "edc". He uses it for anything and everything, I am truly suprised how well that little guy takes it.

Baby folders are awesome!! I usually carry a small & a large folder daily.
Newest baby folder.....Spydie Cat. Very cool & capable knife!

As you can see I don't use this knife. It's blades are too thin and sharp, it sits too nicely in my pocket, and it's just works to well for me to even consider using.
If there's one thing I'll never do, it's use a knife that works too well 😉😉

The Cat is probably my favorite small Spyderco knife. Mine is the 440C version, decked out in paper micarta by sketchen:

Can't believe you posted this Greg!!
I was thinking just today about getting a change of clothes for mine brother!!
Love the way your scales change the look of the knife!!
Looks awesome!!
Been carrying mine and I can tell you this is one hell of a 'big' little knife! It is extremely solid and feels substantial in hand!

My all time favorite small folder is Chris reeve small insingo micarta. This gets 90% pocket time, next is mini grip.

Usually I like narrower knives over wider ones, but I find with tiny knives I like the more substantial handle on the Cat when I compare it to the Dragonfly series (I have a pile of them) the Kopa, and other small models.

Yup! I feel the same with the Benchmade little guys. The 586 & 705 are smaller blades, but the handles on both are kinda hand filling.
Feels like you're holding a larger knife.

I see you're a ztfan- I hope you have a zt450. Nice little knife. I had one dressed up and am in love with it.

I find there are few jobs that I can do with a small knife that I can t do with a mid size folder but there are a number of jobs that benefit from a larger blade. I only carry one knife.
