  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I love Becker knives, but...

I definitely agree to this sentiment. I don’t post often, but I spend a lot of time lurking here. I would love to see another chopper (90% of my blade use while camping is wood processing) or something between the 14 and the 16. Perhaps a 14 with a slightly longer handle—a design moving away from a “necker”.

My interest in this line peaked during the anticipation of the tweener series. Would love to see Kabar put some energy back into the Becker line rather than picking up additional designers/product lines. That takes nothing nothing away from their knives, but it’s my humble opinion that the Becker line is the best thing that Kabar has gong for them from a pure design/utility perspective.

Putting a longer cedar handle on my original 14 was one of the smartest things I’ve ever done to a knife.

A 14 with a longer handle and a tweener with a 5” blade would be awesome.
