I Love Her, my Hanson Sub Hilt

I had to stick both of them together. :)
Coop's pics are the standard.
So very glad to hear Ari's behemoth went to a good home:thumbup:, and congrats again.

There are two kinds of collectors: Those who like DH3's work and those who don't. :(

This is in theory, anyway. I have never met the latter. :p  :D

Rob knows his quality and keeps the primo pieces for himself.

Thanks, Doug. :)

Here is one I got from Ari a few years ago, my first big Hanson bowie. 11-inch blade. First picture is from Ari's website, second by Coop.

Don got a 'pretty nice' hamon on this one, considering it was his first 1086M hamon. ;)

Rob, I really, really like your subhilt. I was fortunate enough to get to handle it out at Don's shop before it went to Coop, and Don continues to amaze with the feel of his big blades. You look at it on the table and think this has to be a fairly hefty bowie. You pick it up and go "Wow". That feel in hand is special.

Congratulations on a great addition to your collection!

Hey Joe,
Thanks for sticking that one up:thumbup:,
I'm starting to remember all the Hanson's that have been subsequently posted.
Btw/ Does anybody know how Ari is doing, I seem to remember some health/pain issues
he was dealing with a year or two back and hope all is well with him. :)

Joe, You got a nice big 'un from Ari. Took him a long time before he decided to sell the Artifact Bowie to me.
Cool that you got to see and handle the sub hilt at Don's. You know, beyond Coop's great pic, why I'm so over the moon with this knife.

Thanks everyone for sharing in my joy and excitement!!! Enjoy the weekend!!!
Rob
