i love mother's mag polish.....

I've always thought of doing that, although I don't have any knife to try it on yet.

i practiced first on a cheap buck stockman....it was much easier on the buck because the steel was so much softer....


infi takes a long time to polish, but it lookes really nice after you finish...
 
I picked up a Jar of "Mother's" Mag & Alum polish today, but did not have a chance to use it yet. I usually used Flitz, but Flitz does not do much for scratches, etc. It seems to be more of a protective coating, instead of a scratch remover. Can you use the "Mothers" on Firearms, like Nickel finished revolvers, or is it to harsh? thanks

you should not use mother's on nickel or blued finishes.....it is much too abrasive and will take the finish off...
