My girlfriend gave me an Eros SS. Intrigued, I bought an Eros Ti—*and I'm absolutely loving its light weight.

Does it have any competition? I'm prepared to spend a bit more.

What now?

Now you be posting some pics, dog. Back yo thread, man.

Please. Thanks in advance.

It's honestly quite chunky in comparison, but the Spyderco Mantra 2 is similar in blade style and handle. The Benchmade 531 doesn't look quite the same but it packs a similarly thin and lightweight blade, has a similar narrow profile, and is exceptionally lightweight.

Perhaps a Boker Urban trapper? I'm partial to the coco bolo variant.

Or the Protech Newport for some automatic awesomeness. Comes in a billion and twelve varieties.

i havent seen anything similar to the ti Eros, its really one of a kind. its so thin and light i cant believe the lockup would be solid but it is. i would say if you like it that much, buy another as a backup so you wont be afraid to really use and carry your eros all the time

There's nothing quite like the CRKT Eros Titanium with a 3" blade and weighing 1.4 ounces. One of my absolute favorites for when you need a light flipper like running shorts. I've carried mine for over three years now and it has been exposed to heat, dust, sand, sweat and humidity. I just wash and dry it. I did open it up to clean it once and I wish the standoffs were also titanium as there was a little rust around it. I have a couple of backups for it.

The Al Mar Hawk is also nice, slim and light. There's also the Fox Elite.

A. G. Russell just introduced a small light gent's knife that is right at 1 oz. The Light'n bug. Titanium liner and clip, plus carbon fiber. Haven't handled it yet, but A. G.'s stuff is quality. He also does a small titanium-handled lockback, with no clip that is so light you don't know it's there.

Man, I hate to spend $75 on 8cr13mov, but that is one handsome knife. Thanks for posting about it. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise.

I gifted my son a Lignt'n Bug. It's a beaut as IMO well worth the cost. In fact, after handling it I ordered one for myself!
