It's an Ebony inlay and I really like it's looks and feel. Came very sharp out of the box, love the polished blade and handle. It's a keeper!

very nice i am still saving up for my first sebenza its hard to go from buying $100 to throwing $400 down on a knife but i almost have enough money to get one

I've had mine for a week now Jill, I haven't touched another knife since I got her, and she's just a plain used Classic.

Your's is pretty sweet!

I sold a couple of Spydercos that are discontinued now and I wound up using the money for this. Believe it or not the price the pair brought (I have more like them too, so it wasn't hard to sell them) paid for my new Sebenza and the best part is, I only have the price I paid for the Spyderco's in it! Just over 200 bucks!

Hi Jill

Glad you like it! Know you were slightly disappointed in the Umnumzaan but glad you like this one. Now use her!

Welcome to the extended family, Jill!

I'm way more a Sebenza person than a 'Zaan person myself. I hope you enjoy!

Professor.

Hi Jill

Glad you like it! Know you were slightly disappointed in the Umnumzaan but glad you like this one. Now use her!

It just was too plain for the money, IMO and the sharpness out the box of the Sebenza puts it to shame. It's just a lot prettier knife to me, than the Umnum.
Just depends on what you like, much like everything else.

Welcome to the Club, Jill! The longer you have it, and the more you use it, the more you'll appreciate it. And, eventually, you'll want to disassemble, clean, and lube her up like new -- so do yourself a favor and hafe CRK's fluo grease on handy at the ready:

You can get it from New Graham or CRK directly. I now use it on all my knives.

Congrats again!

I love the Ebony.
If you get the CRK grease just remember a little bit goes a long ways.

I bought an Umnumzaan first, but I think Sebenza is the way to go. I prefer the plain Sebenza the most, but the ebony inlay looks great too
and I recommend the CRK grease also.

That's a beauty Jill I wish you well to use it........:)

Looks great, glad you're happy with it.

Are you going to carry this one? :)

I love the Ebony inlay, Is it a large or small either way congrats on a great purchase.

I will carry it, but it won't see any use much. I always carry a knife like it in a belt pouch, just to have with me.(while hiking) Something else is clipped in the pocket and used for any need. It impressed me as being well worth the price paid and shows no flaws. It looks better in person than I'd even thought it would. Very nice oozes quality! Sharpness out of the box is up there, too!

It's a large. Thanks!
