I love my Izula

And next someone's going to post about how they killed a wild boar with one...

Next, lets start a thread called "Ants in your pants" and feature Izula carry options.

Killing a Boar with a 3" knife would be an incredible feat..

I may be the only one, but I Hated my Izula.

1. The edge was WAY to fat, didn't slice well at all
2. The sheath sucked

it'd probably be great for wood carving, but I don't know how you'd skin with it, didn't do a good job of cutting anything I wanted it to cut

Why are these things so expensive. Am I alone when I say that these seem overpriced?

I thought so too, but the quality is good and the warranty is great. Each one is serial numbered, too. And when you think about it, as long as you can spare the extra room, an Izula should do anything a similar folder at the same price would, but better.

It is not overpriced at all. Even I bought one.

$40 or so is overpriced? And I thought I had a tight budget.... only reason I don't have one is i keep buying folders

I like that the Izula comes in pretty colors, so I can coordinate with whatever mood or clothing I'm wearing.

Where can I get one for $40? MSRP on the ESEE website is $84.

Don't buy it directly from ESEE, it's much cheaper elsewhere. Most manufacturers don't compete with their dealers and sell at MSRP.

Hell I’m just hoping for some temper tantrums so I can score some ESEE blades on the cheap off the exchange.

Why would you order anything at full MSRP from the manufacturer?

A manufacturer do what he does best, manufacturing.
A dealer and distributer do what he does best, deal and distribute.

Im also waiting for something good to come up in the exchange,
what do you guys think would piss off the owner of an orange izula and a junglas?
