I Love my XM-18!!!

Hinderer website lists Dealers. They come up for sale in the Seller forum. Lastly, the auction sites but I find that frustrating unless you just do a BIN.

Then of course are the Knife Shows but again, you may not get a chance to buy one.

My advice to those who REALLY want one is, determine which model you want to start out with. Search for that one. Buy it. Life is too short.

Thanks!

Love that bad boy!!! Hinderers are the bee's knees!!! top notch all around

O.K. XM-18 fans I'm back to report that I'm STILL loving mine.

On a steep hike the weekend before last, everyone had walking poles but me and they were going on and on about how easy it made the climbing, so I sawed down a nice straight sapling with my SAK and used the XM-18 to make a point on the bottom and strip away the rough bark for the handle.

Here is a picture of the trail:

I also decided to do a light test on the spanto tip's strength and pried apart a dead branch in my yard:

The tip just split the branch right open with ease.

I'm really liking the steel on this knife. Great edge holding, and it strops back to super sharp with just a few passes on the strop.

Slightly different topography but looks like my view out the front of my property. (Pocono Mountains) nice living in the woods, keeps me calm :)

Great Pics!

Cool. What you're looking at there is the mighty Hudson River just north of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Just a quick update on my XM....

I'm still lovin' it!

Last weekend I was looking for another excuse to use the XM when I decided that time and the elements had finally done in the tarp roof on my kids' play-set, and it was high time to remove it.

First I sliced it in half so I could stand up to work.

As expected, the XM finished off this job with ease.

That is all. Beanbag out.

loving this post. loving my XM-18 more. the only thing that would make the XM-18 better IMO is if i could sign over my power of attorney to it. its far more reliable then most people these days :D

I used my XM over the weekend to open up the stitches and remove Air Force Sgt. stripes from a BDU shirt that my 12 year son, a newly minted C.A.P. Cadet Airman (Civil Air Patrol), will be using with the proper insignia for his rank.

Thank you for posting user pics. I know the extra effort involved in taking pictures while trying to get work/projects accomplished. XMs are awesome! Look great in general and even better in action.
