I got the Tasman Salt! It's fantastic! It opens packages and cuts cord and rope so much better than knives with other shapes! Even after some dulling, the shape allows for fantastic controlled tearing. I love it!

H1 in SE holds a very good edge, especially a SE hawkbill like the Tasman or Spyderhawk Salt. I also really like the SE hawkbills because the "teeth" on them aren't over long/thin/pointy, like on some other models, which can often snag. I use my SE Tasman cutting lots of hard plastic straps, have had it for years, and it's yet to need a sharpening.

Do they make a h1 like the salt 1 size (about 3 inch blade) that has the Full Flat Grind? My Salt 1 is more of a Saber grind and I want a slicer!
