I love the wait

Recently, my enjoyment of the "new knife inbound" feeling has been soured by how many have been delayed thanks to the incompetent folks at my area's USPS distribution center. USPS Priority: most expensive it's ever been, good luck actually getting your package in that two day window!

My last blademail was delayed by about 3 days (not TOO bad) but I feel ya.

However, I jumped up and cheered when I saw that BHQ sent my latest shipment via UPS :D

Jumping in on a slightly older (but highly relevant ) thread.

QUIT USING USPS to ship knives. UPS 2 day is is the same price or less than priority mail with these 1lb or less packages. I'm waiting 2 -3 -4 weeks for a priority package to come.
And I know I'm not the only one. In the arcade forum I'm on, it's the same thing.

I'm doing more shipping than receiving these days, but agree with Quiet Quiet that USPS Priority isn't the best choice. I generally use USPS Ground Advantage and the overall experience has been pretty good, though usually slower than two days. Packages occasionally take a vacation and the tracking function sometimes hiccups, but most of the time it's delivered when predicted and shipping costs are considerably less. Most of the packages I ship are more than 1 lb., so I haven't used UPS much.
