I Love This Bag

The "secret CCW" pocket of the CTD bag is velcro-lined and also comes with a universal holster. Everything else appears to be about the same from what I read. I have the CC bag and am also curious about the CTD one.

The first bag is from country comm. I bought my second from "cheaperthandirt.com" for 25 dollars. I use one for my gym bag (perfect size) and the other for my hiking/emergency bag.

As far as I can tell they are the same bags...

I've had the desert sage Bail Out Bag for a while now, replacing an earlier generation model in black. (Trying to get away from super secret squirrel gear!)

I've gone back and forth with a Duluth Trading messenger bag, an old Eagle Creek convertible backpack-briefcase, and the County Comm BOB. Especially with warm weather, the BOB wins hands down.

It is great for a nature walk or picnic by the lake or day hike, with all those outside pockets for binoculars, camera, SAK, water bottle ... never having to dig in the bottom of a big bag for small gear. And it always seems to have room for one more piece of gear inside.

I just wish they'd deliver to Australia, theres a heap of stuff I wanna buy from county comm.

My bag arrived Friday in time for my trip to the Mom-in-Laws,............Greatness!

Langston, you are now added to my list of enablers! ;) :D

Ok for all you enablers out there.... I know I'll regret this question but, I can see it costoing me $$$ ... who is County Comm

Must...not...buy...My EOD bag is my new best friend, it should be enough. Right? RIGHT?! I don't need anything new. I don't need a man-purse with a Surefire pocket and a concealed carry slot.
...I WANT one, but I don't need it. Keep telling myself this until the sale ends.

This link should take you to the exact bag I ordered.

It went with me yesterday on a day look at 400 acres in Ranger, TX. We were scouting property for dear season and it carries ammo for two pistols, light, and said pistols in .38 and .357 config expertly......I had room for more, but it was not necessary for this trip..

We saw copius turkey tracks, hog tracks and deer tracks and droppings....:thumbup::D

But back to the bad........

Does anyone know what D9 steel is?

(Sorry for the threadjack)

I have the mini version, ordered in the last few boxes from County Comm.......I don't know about the steel, but I will try it on a ferro rod to see if it is good for this intended use.

It is handy none the less and for the price, I say get one.

I bought a black 5th Gen BOB from CountyComm back around Nov 2006 for their original $39 plus shipping. Boy was I surprised when "USP" billed me another $40 or so in brokerage fees to Canada. Boy was I p*ssed off, it basically cost me about $50 to ship it to me. Great bag but lesson learned.
When I bought a pair of the MOLLE Deployment bags from Cheaper Than Dirt I made sure to have them delivered to my mom's place in Florida. Luckily I was making a trip down there around the same time so I just picked them up when I got there. I now just have my orders shipped to her if it's coming by USP or FexEd, etc and just have her mail the stuff to me. I save a ton of $$ that way.

To all fellow Canucks, do not buy anything that has to be shipped by UPS. The horror stories are many.

I used to scout those too, but we called them "night clubs".:D

Now I need to convince my dear that it would be part of an early birthday present.

Anyone compare these to the ones LAPG is selling? Just curious as they look nearly identical. I think the brand name on the LAPG ones is Diplomat or something.
