I made a KLO

OUTSTANDING - Oh did someone already say that? :D All kidding aside that is a superb piece. I really - really LOVE the handle. Blade & sheath follow the beautiful rugged form to a T. Very impressive [emoji106]

I would really enjoy putting that one to work and then letting it rest on its very own wall, maybe with a spot light - yup - like the work of art it is.

No hyperbole intended. This is so cool

Getting this kind of feed back from the cantina means a TON to me, I have a lot of respect for the opinions here. Thank you!!!

Hot damn! Definitely agree, this is no KLO. You dun built yourself a fine blade right there, and in traditional kami spirit too. No super fancy tools, just working with what you have and what you know. Fullers are awesome too. Love me some fullers. Overall 10/10, possibly 11/10 considering you had no "training" or mentoring...

Nice new spear point ndog!
Thank you sir! That is a Danish style neolithic point designed for piercing armor. I made half a dozen of them before I got one this nice. At least I didnt have to temper it:D

One of these on an atlatl dart will pierce a car door. Cant say them Neanderthals didnt have it figured out:D

Looks like it has a hankering to make wood chips from logs. Legit Khuk, bet it fits your hand well too.

Gotta say your KLO looks like a labor of love to me. Glad you used a truck spring....found out buggy springs can sometimes develop a mind of it's own when trying to get a good blade, let alone a khuk out of it. Bring your hammer and c'mon up. We'll make a couple of somethin's and have a good time. Probably going to be forging another barrel come March.

Wooohoo, Thought you wouldn't be able to quit cold turkey... or is that cold forge... eh whatever, I knew you couldn't hold out without some sort of metal/fire/hammer thing going on at least a little bit.

Thank you kindly, I might have to take you up on it!
