I may have gone too far as well...

Yeah I caught mine cutting a pizza ON THE STONE with my favorite PAL 50+ year old butcher knife that I keep/kept...hair popping sharp as a labor of love. That vintage carbon steel is what got me into Beckers and knives for that matter. Now, I have a few Knife blocks with all my vintage stuff that stay off the kitchen counters... I find decent stuff at thrift stores that stay out for "their" use!
