Lets not start knocking AK's, I'd hate to have this turn into an AR versus AK thread instead of admiring Garth's new toys. I thought I told you I was an AK guy man, that hurts:sour:
 
I have found a place in my collection for both ARs and AKs. Really hard to get an AK to not work. I have tried in the past and they seem to be practically unstoppable.

Agreed....Hard to have a collection of firearms that would exclude either of these legendary designs. I realize they both have their shortcomings however both are quite fun to burn up ammo....I hated my Viet Nam issue
M16 but have gotten over those issues (too many tours) now its all about the FUN!!!!

Sorry man, AKs just don't float my boat. Have 2 of them at the moment, both are meh......I like ARs a lot more.

AKs heat up like a SOB (like most commie rifles), heavier than they need to be, and sloppiness in machining is considered engineering genius.

Just don't have a flare to them like a VZ58 does, but still, VZs heat up like a SOB

I've had more issues with AKs than ARs, and I run my ARs hot and dirty :)

But, you throw a mag that doesn't lock up well in any rifle and they tend to mess up
 
Nice! I'd say you stopped short as oppossed to going overboard. Those beauties need some optics! :D

I like them all really. I'm not exactly sure why I like AK's so much but maybe its the sloppy = genius part reminds me of myself. IDK. That POF you have is kinda the cats meow though in the assault rifle word IMO.

Thanks, she's loud but I love the high cycle rate and 0 recoil thanks to the break.

Can't wait to throw a can on it

Stuck the ACOG on it though, did a little optics switch

I just wish the powers that be would realize that there is nothing dangerous about a can so I could just go pick them up instead of having to wait.

That safe is awesome. I have a buddy who has one and he has a step ladder next to it to be able to get stuff out. Wish I had a place big enough for one. Atleast no one is gonna just pick it up and walk away with it.
