I sold a delica and then gave away my user. It's been a few months without one and I ended up trading for a Kahr Aarms Delica. I don't know what it is I just think it's a fantastic knife, faults and all.

I don't know of any faults with any Delica ~ period ~~ as I own my fair share of them and carry one 100% of the time.!
The Delica ZDP189 is my fave and it is my go to knife for a lot of things from A to Z.!** { love the KAHR Delica as I do
have a couple of the KAHR Pistols } Now I think they ought to make a Kimber Knife as I also own 4 of the Kimber Pistols ~~
but I don't think Sal will go along with that.!** lol

Hi nef!
I was hooked the second I got my first Spyderco. The chisel grind Emerson pulled me away for a bit but I always had at least one Spyder in the knife drawer. Now, it's in my pocket.

There are 7 things about Spyderco that sets it above All other knife companies in my opinion :
1) They are the only company to use ATS-55
2) They are the first company to include serrations on folders
3) Their designs are a combination of innovation ; artistic and practicality.
4) They offer the most co operative customer service .
5) They offer the most consistent heat treating on their blades. For example : l owned Two bench made griptillians not long ago in 440c. One sharpened up nice and easy and had awesome edge retention. But the other was a night made to sharpen even with a diamond hone. But Spyderco always gets the heat treating accurately.
6) Their Spyder hole design is much more convenient to use that thumb studs.
7) Their Byrd line knives are the only made in China knives that l am confident in.
17 of my knives are Spyderco and except a Civilian model ; All are very useful . Especially my EDC Plain edge VG-10 Delica.
I am a Spyderguy for life.

haha, nice lycosa. actually spyderco was the company that made me consider quality knives in the first place. before that it was opinels and saks (nothing wrong with that).
and yes, the spydie hole is just awesome... don't know what it is, but to me it is just better than any thumb stud.

I stopped looking for knives once I received my Dragonfly in ZDP-189 w/Nishijin scales. People gift em other knives, but I continue to carry my Dragonfly.

I am carrying the Southard AVO right now, but almost all of my folders are Spyderco. I have a NIB Millie, PM2, Slysz Bowie, Southard, Sage 2...for instance, and would be proud to carry any one of them. There is just NOT enough time...
