I modded a 9 and made it "MINE" :D

That's awesome Zz. Came out perfect!

Only downside I see is You can't leave the 9 at the scene of the crime if you ever have to off someone with it! haha JK. But really, I'd choose another knife in that situation. :D

And man I lived in Austin for 7 years and never knew a place like that existed. I might have to look into that.

Don't feel bad. They've only been there a little over a 14 months. What get's my goat is that I walked right by them that entire time everytime I went to that Lowes and ignored it, thinking it was just some kind of strange store.

That's very cool ZZ...
Nice work!

Very cool....... I really wish that"shop" lived at my house...... Congrats....

Ethan

Very nice.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

As this was the first knife I ever "deliberately" modded, I wanted to do the best job I could AND make it different from other mods I've seen.

All my previous knife modifications were "unintentional", usually by dropping one and dinging/chipping/breaking the blade or scales on a rock or concrete and then monkeying with it to "fix" it.

I may need to get a Kabar license to sell these things or get a commission agreement with Tomar. Over a dozen people asked where to get them while I was playing with them in the shop. :D In addition to the 9 I had a 3/4/5/7/11/16/17 set in a bucket with me while working on laser jigs for them and just about anyone who checked them out liked at least 1 of them.
