I must STOP!!

maybe you should use your 6 awhile and see ow it feels, move on from there.

I'm hung up on my RC3-mil for utility, i love that thing.

I know how it feels.......found the forum a month or so ago and got an Izula for my first ESEE - a month later ESEE4 is on its way to me.

Just step into my office, sit down & let's talk...:D

Dales got your cure for ya. Watchout, he's gonna wave a rag soaked in tufglide and fresh micarta dust in front of you, then hand you a laptop and the pain will all go away

That's it!! The IZULA is a gateway knife!! Curse you ESEE! Curse you!!:p
yup.
that's pretty much a consensus statement there.
if you have an Izula & 6, you don't really need much more - an ESEE3, Junglas, lite machete, Jungla pack, Izula folder, and 1/2 dozen arrowheads, comprehensive survival kit, Rat Pack kit (with ESEE 5 or 6), spare molle backs and pouches...
I'm sure Dale would be willing to set you up with a direct deposit account and whenever there's enough in it he could automatically send you your next "fix"...
:D

yeah....Dale hooked me up with the 4 and I think it reached its destination already. My sis in law will bring it up here next weekend when she drives up.

Know the feeling. Just got the izula and RC 5 and now waiting on the 3 MIL to get here. It's an addiction, but I like it. Don't want to stop. Only question is which is next?

no such thing as stop--I own RC3-RC4P(horizontaly mounted EDC)-RC4S-RC5-RC6 and 2 HEST. And will be looking for more as they become available.

This ESEE addiction is no joke. This stuff's more contagious than swine flu.
I just got my first Izula a few days ago, got the scales, and am already about to pull the trigger on a 3.

Its all true I recived my HEST yesterday and I already have my finger on the trigger for a RC6. I'm going to get divorced over this addiction.....oh well better than smoking crack I guess. At least I can build a shelter in the bush when the wife kicks me out.:D

I you are posting that here, there is no cure. That is not a bad thing. I preordered the Lite Machete and I REALLY want the Junglas. Heck I don't really need the Lite Machete (as I am sure my wife will tell me over and over) but somehow I feel like have to have it. It is not a rational purchase. I have a HEST, Izula and RC5, but I would also like the RC6 too. Don't try to reason, just accept the facts that you are hooked and start saving for your next ESEE.

you can go over to the maker's forums and see what those guys are making by hand... either you'll shift your spending habits from RAT to the handmade knives or you'll wind up spending 2x as much on knives... like what happened to me. fun huh?

OR cut your finger off with your first ESEE knife, so you have to spend all your green on medical bills instead of knives...

Oh I already keep a buddy of mine who makes custom damascus knives steadily employed. I have an ongoing Bowie and Kukri project with him right now. And I'm STILL thinking of ideas for him.
