not a drink you lushes, i mean a good web gun/knife belt. i've seen a few of these worn around at blade in both tan and black. can anybody point the way to a good quality long lasting webbed nylon belt?
thanks

You might want to check with ThatMguy, I don't the name of these guys, but they sell kydex and tactical gear, and go to a lot of gunshows, I saw them at the last Pro show. Pretty reasonable prices, and AFAIK, they're the only guys that make on site kydex sheaths at shows, while you wait.
They might have some belts available.

I'd like to get one of these too. Are any capable of growing with me. I was a size 31 when I got into Busse knives and now I'm a 34... Who knows where it will stop!!!!

You do know that Busse knives are not for actual consumption, correct?

try a Liger Gunbelt. I have one and it is sweet.

Not webbed nylon, but better IMO

It's bred for it's magical powers too. :D:D

I've got a Wilderness or two. I found I don't like them. Not enuf give like leather does. Gimme a good double-thick leather belt any day. Rafter S will get my next belt $. . . if and when I ever lose enuf weight to justify a sharkskin and an elephantskin belt. (Which may be never. Good leather belts don't wear out - so I can't count on my current boring ones to ever give out unless I drop about 20 lbs.)

+2 for the Wilderness belt. I have the Combat Shooters Model with the polymer inserts. I lie the additional stiffness of this model for carrying gear such as knives and medical gear in dropleg rigs or pistol holsters. I have found that even with the extra stiffness it is very comfortable and and this is despite the fact that I am carrying a few extra pounds around the middle.

+1 for The Wilderness. I have one of the 1.75" CSM belts (polymer insert that makes it extremely rigid) and while it isn't the sort of thing I want to wear to work, it is fantastic for carrying things you have to remove quickly from holsters/sheaths. I'm planning to get another in 1.5" width without the CSM.

I do agree with Dennis, though: if you want comfort, get leather. My Kramer Leather horsehide belt has been worn almost every day for the last 6 years and been through many days of handgun training with constant draw and reholstering and I am certain it will last years more. Their holsters are ridiculously good, as well.

S.O.E. Riggers belt is about the toughest I've used so far, but very ridgid. It does come in a quick-release buckle version as well, known as "Cobra". As far as genearal use and very tough, the Spec-Ops brand Better BDU belt is a great value.

+1 for the Liger belt. I have worn tons of different belts for keeping my britches up when I'm carrying a whole bunch of crap and sweating like a ... Uhmm.. Hog at Blade! Anyways, the Liger doesn't stretch, roll or require maintenance. I love leather, and have some nice "Showy" rigs for dressy 1911's and such, but the Liger is my go to belt. And. like RF siad, it actually looks pretty classy, understated and not too tacticool when worn with slacks.

I have an extra if you want it. I've also got a ton of riggers belts (nylon webbing type) laying around that you can have. Pm me and we'll work it out! THIS IS NOT A SALE OFFER, PLEASE DON'T LOCK THE THREAD!!!!!!!

uhumm.... use your decoder ring...
