I've been searching for an 80s production Cold Steel Urban Pal since I lost one in college. Well I finally found one and I'm guessing it was a very early production model because it's grind leaves a lot to be desired. Since these damn knives are so hard to find I'm considering having the hollow grind redone, if this is even possible. Anyone have any thoughts on this, or suggestions who I should contact. Thanks in advance.
 
There are some custom makers on this forum that could make you one for a reasonable price. Might be a better way to spend your money.
 
You're probably right, that whole sentimental thing though. Took me many years to find this one and I'd like to have it "right"
 
Had one done by Big Chris her on the forums, don't know if he does hollow grind but does nice flat grind.
 
Thanks to everyone, I'm going to contact Razor Edge tomorrow. Based on his website I think he'll be able to do exactly what I need.
