Any of you blade makers that would like to give me a quote on a blade E-mail me.
I want to make a 2 blade folder similar to AG Russell American Rider, christmas 1998 catalog pg #8

I can send you a forged billet out of 52100 steel(ball bearing) that you can cut out and
shape and then have hardened and tempered if your interested.

Thanks for the offer, but, I don't have the ability(machinery) to grind the blades. Even if I did I don't have the skill to make a nice clean blade, that is something that I will work on down the road. What I need is someone to make the blades and spring (lockbar) I'll do the rest. The blade I want would be similar to Spyderco rescue. I can supply drawings or computer file in Autocad97lt, Adobe Illust, Corel draw 5.
I could probably cut it out but not do the grinding, finishing, hardening... I run a light duty CNC machine. I cut mostly sterling silver, gold, gold fill, bronze, and some fine steel dies that I cut real slow and .002" at a time...
What do you think.....
