I need a decent Machete, for cheap, just to use to hack away at overhanging branches.

Just to clarify something here Khukuri shaped machete's are not Khukuri's but KLO"s (Khukuri Like Objects). My smallest Khukuri a 12" OAL CAK (Chirwa Ang Kola- full tang with pins)weights more than both of my 23" OAL user machete's COMBINED! Most Khukuri's suck at light vegetation, true khukuri's are hard core heavy choppers. My 20" AK (Ang Kola- stick tang peened) will cleave 3"+ hardwood it one swing. If you want a front heavy machete I suggest something along of lines of a parang or golok. Personally I'm dying to try a golok or a Condor Viking Machete but I can't justify one.

You NEED a Viking. You just don't know it yet. :D

The Viking and I are very old friends and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful chopper that can handle a wide range of targets. Grasses and hardwood alike have been felled in huge quantities by my trusty Viking. :D
