I am looking for a knife to wear on my belt all day. Does anyone have any suggestions of what is a good quality piece that I could buy? I would love the help.
:)

Are we talking sheath carry or inside-the-waistband carry? Big difference.

For sheath carry, I just don't see how a fellow could beat the Leatherman Wave. For IWB carry, the Spyderco Police rocks.

Get a Buck 110 or a Spyderco Endura. Of course, they have no springs, as your sig implies, and you would have to open the knife by yourself. It's quite simple, actually. :D

Welcome to BFC.

Johnswitchblade-- what types of things do you use a knife for? If you give us an idea of your intended uses, we will be able to give you better suggestions.

Then a stainless handled Police or Endura would work like magic. Just make sure to check your local laws. Cheers.

A large Sebenza in a CRK leather sheath would be awesome. I carry a Crawford full size KFF on my belt and hardly know it's there! The Crawford was $550.00 including the sheath and the Seb would be $345.00 plus $38.00 for the sheath. It just depends on how much you want to spend. ;) :p

I want the knife for personal safety and for daily use. I am looking for something small, compact, durable and comfortable.

Try something from Benchmade. My 942 has been my EDC for going on two years, and has done everything I have asked of it. You might also want to look at the 705. IMHO, it's hard to beat the axis lock.

For belt pouch carry, I suggest a Benchmade 720, 721 or 722 if you like Tanto blades. I prefer these knives without the clips for some reason and they fit great in a Leatherman Nylon sheath. Not only does it fit, it suggest that you are carrying a multi tool and attracts less attention. I carry a 722 Tanto like this and it has worked out great. These knives are light weight, strong, slim (without the clips) and worth a look.

Sounds to me like a Delica or Native. For IWB or inside belt, you're going to want something slim in width.

Some here would opine that safety (self-defense, I assume) and daily use are mutually exclusive, that you should have one dedicated tool for each use. I don't hold that view, then again my knives get light and infrequent daily use and are therefore always razor sharp anyway.

Sounds like you need a Delta Z Osprey. Lucky for you they are going for OVER 50% off right now Here

Or if thats not your cup of tea, you might want to check out a Camillus EDCHere

Of course if you decide to go with something alittle bit larger, then look no further than either a Benchmade 806 or my all time favorite, a Al Mar Sere 2000
