i need me a man jewelry box. not something that looks like my girlfriends fancy pants costume dress up bull****. needs to hold at least 4-6 watches and 5 folders largest being a zt 560 any suggestions would be appreciated! *insert manly comment here(something more manly then jewelry boxes :D)*

You could always buy some nice exotic wood and make one? I'm not an expert carpenter or anything but I don't expect making a box would be that difficult. Hell, I'm pretty sure that was a high school project in shop class many years ago.

What was it about this "man jewelry box" that led you to believe it belonged in the General Knife Discussion?

sure a standard box is easy, dont have the time to make something with intricate dividers and the like. i could just buy some cheep jewlry boxes and nail them together and spry paint them blaze orange and call it modern art

what he said, but not an humidor, i use the boxes that contained my cigars, i have 3 and they are often colored and nicely decorated enough to be accepted by my gf. you'll have to make dividers and a soft lining for watches. i havent done this to mines as i dont care about scratching my knives like i do for my watches.

What you're looking for is at least a 28 gun safe. Anything smaller & you're just kidding yourself!

Levenger's has a "commemorative box" that is pretty nice, but it doesn't have separate sections like a dedicated watch case would have. I don't know if a watch case would be able to hold the knives because the individual boxes are too small.

$50 from Amazon:

Reasonably priced wood jewelry boxes {lined with felt) may be found at stores like Ross, Marshalls, and TJMaxxx, near the housewares section. Seriously, the wood inlaid ones look good. Just be aware they are made in countries like China or India, if that's important to you.
