I need a new Spydie...

I can't get rid of this itch! I recently started buying spyderco knives, and now I can't stop. I am more interested in EDC type knives, nothing too big(but I could be swayed!). First I started with a Delica 4, and ended up giving that to my father. Then I bought a Centofante 3, followed by a FG Rookie and a FG Para-Military. My most recent is a CF Caly 3.

I thought after I got this knife I would be done. At least for a while. But I'm already getting that itch again. I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. What do you use for your EDC? What knives did you buy that you never imagined you would?

I remember the first time I saw the Caly 3 and I thought that I would never even think about buying that knife. I thought it was ugly. After months of looking at it though, it finally pulled me in. I'm glad I got it.

Make the Police 3 your next Spyderco. Even though it is a little bigger than the other ones you have bought you will love it! Then get a LadyBug 3 for your keychain! Kevin :D

Every well rounded Spyderco collection has to have a Military in it.

The Para is good, but the Millie is the big daddy. It's arguably one of their best folders, simple and yet very reliable for all sorts of cutting chores.
Even if you don't plan on EDCing it, I guarantee you will need it for some large chore someday, and it is up to the challenge.

The Military definitely looks awesome, it's at the top of my list. I think it will end up being a must have for me.

I like the police too. I bought the Rookie because I wanted a smaller knife but to be honest I was a little disappointed with it. I may end up selling the rookie and just go for the Police, which I should have done in the first place.

I would recommend the Native III and 4 as well as the UKPK.

I will carry the UKPK when I think that the my Large Sebenza might draw to much attention or a locking knife might be questioned.

Military - The most versatile tactical folder ever made

What knives did you buy that you never imagined you would?

Stainless Steel AUS-6 Endura - The stainless steel handle is totally impractical for my uses, and I'm far too much of a steel snob to be using AUS-6 steel, but this knife is still one of my all-time favorite folders. There's just something about how easy it is to Spydie-drop this knife, and how easy it is to get the blade back to shaving sharp. And of all of my folders, this knife gets the most compliments from non-knife people, by far.

And Michelle Rodriguez carried one. :D:D:D

Another vote here for the Millie! I have many more future Military purchases ahead of me.
It's a great knife, plain and simple. Cut up and filleted an entire salmon just the other day. No problemo.

small-med: sage cf, jd smith, salt series.

large: military s90v. or any military, really.

I'm definitely liking the sage too. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be buying a military next. The only question is whether I want to get it in CF or not. After getting my CF caly 3 it's pretty tempting.

Those 2 examples of CF handles are on opposite side of the spectrum. The Millie CF is much more like Spyderco's G10 handles in feel and looks. The Caly 3's CF is more smooth and shiny.

That's good, I think I'll actually like that better than the CF on the Caly 3. I didn't know that it would be so smooth, but I still like it anyway.

The CF Millies are a bit more pricey, but they are definitely worth it. You get a steel upgrade and an even more ridged handle. Not that I can feel any flex with the G10 either.

I've always loved your profile picture there.

I'd still recommend the S90V/CF Military up at the top there, and right after that, a PE Military. Extremely useful knife that after you get, you won't realize how you were able to live without it.
