I need a Rambo knife

I dont mean to pry... but Why do you need a "Rambo" knife?

Is this just to fill the niche in your collection? Or do you want a cool lookin survival knife?

There are alot of really good knives out there that cost alot less than the Chris Reeve knives, but this is only if you are willing to move away from the hollow handles.

Don't get me wrong, I love expensive knives, just that I have never had the itch for a hollow handle.

If you really want a modern hollow handle knife consider the following.........

Martin knives
Colin Cox
Randall mdl. 18
Bill Sanders
Chris Reeve

These are not cheap knives, but the best traditional hollow handles available today. IMHO

I love hollow handles and love collectiong them.... they take me back to my old 'Rambo" days. :D

The CRK One-Piece start at $205. Just eat Kraft dinner for a week and you'll save enough money to get whatever you want.

I just got this new knife in the mail today...

It's an Ontario OK8325 SP6 Spec Plus Fighting Knife that I bought for $34 on ebay. Here's the full description...

Tang stamped with Ontario USA. Black grooved Kraton handle with lanyard. Black cordura and leather belt sheath. New in bulk packed. Made in USA.

It's so sharp that I can shave with it.

And, I'll have this knife by the end of the week...

Thanks for the helpful replies. The CS Bushmans looks like a reasonable alternative. I can see the reasoning behind keeping all your survival goodies in the handle of a knife. I might rethink my tactics before making a decision.
