I know that your not supposed to talk about websites concerning sales of products on this forum so I don't know how this is going to work. I hope I'm not messing up and get myself in trouble. I need to know if there is a good, reputable place to buy a Buck Signatur Series knife. The only good looking place I currently know of is AG Russel, and they don't have the particular one I'm looking for. I'm wondering if eknifeworks is a trustable one? There is a ccouple of them (websites) I'll be checking out. Any help would be appreciated. Again, I hope I'm not doing anything wrong, or asking an unappropriate question here, I'm just a little apprehensive about credit card #'s over the internet, and I don't wanna get ripped off.

Thanks for your time, and let me know if this is at all unappropriate,

Thank you very much for your time,

Charlie B. :footinmou

Two suggestions.

1) We have a forum called The Good, The Bad, The Ugly where buyers post the names of members or businesses with whom they have dealt successfully or otherwise.

Find a few recommendations there for good websites.

2) Bladeforums is owned and operated by the same person as One Stop Knife Shop. 1SKS has a wide selection of knives and competitive prices, and by buying from 1SKS, you are indirectly supporting Bladeforums.

eknifeworks is very reputable. I've ordered from them myself. This is probably more appropriate in the "Good, Bad, and Ugly" forum (in the "Knife Exchange") which gives feedback for retailers and individual sellers/buyers. Do a search there for a vendor you're looking at, and chances are someone's left feedback for them.

I don't think this would be breaking a rule since they don't exist any more. I just want to say I was saddened greatly when spoon river cutlery closed. I wonder why he closed it.

If it is the same place I am thinking of spoon river cutlery had a lot of inventory stollen and that shut them down.

Wow, that's really bad. I hate whoever stole from them since they were great. They had the best prices and the best customer service. Theywould even remember if you had bought from them in the past and hand write you a little note along with the knife.
