I need a rucksack/backpack

When i ride my bike i sometimes carry my camera and lots of other bulky stuff. Then when i get to where i want to go i hike most of the day with my camera EQ. Becuse of the bulky camera EQ i ended up using the german ranger pack. Works great riding on the bike then going for a hike. I got some other packs that sit closer to the body and easy to hike with but they just dont take the bulky things. I got that pack in the first place as a pack for my parents car to keep everything they need in case of an earthquake. I ended up using it myself but for $10 i would get another one.

shotgun,
I have been looking at the Pygmy Falcon, it fits the bill, I was just wondering if it is too small and fit my lap top.

I have a Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II that fits your criteria. Excellent construction. The material is rather stiff which seems to provide more usable space if that makes sense. The only thing I don't like is the water bottle holders are tight and don't stretch. Not a problem for most, but I put duct tape on my Nalgene bottles so it limits the volume.

I have carried food, one change of clothes, extra sandles, army poncho, jungle sleeping bag, PSK, and used the bottom external straps to carry thermarest pad on a three day outing no problem.

Is there an pocket on the Pygmy Falcon for a Camelbak? I've been going back and forth over that one.

Check out the "kitchen sink" by Oakley. They also have a number of other styles and prices.

Thanks. I'm really wanting one that size, but with a hydro pouch. I may go with a new Camelbak. I like the Motherlode and the Talon.
