i just got my first old "real steel" axe. Plumb Boys Axe. i love it. (wife doesnt understand). i'm wondering what people think. any info on how old this might be?? i think it was forged in Philadelphia..

You're probably not going to have a lot of luck getting an age on this thing without at least intricate detail in the description of the entire axe. One thing to note is that companies change their logo over the years. That may help you narrow it down.

Pictures always help. Dropbox, photo-bucket, and picasa give you a place to put your pics so you can link to them here. That's probably poorly put, but go to any of those and I'm sure you can figure it out.
