I Need Help Identifying This Knife

I acquired this blade from a friend. At the time I thought it to be just another common blade but I'm not so sure anymore. It has an "R" on the sheath and the name Rigid on it as well as on the blade itself. I have scowered the web and have found nothing akin to this blade and very little under the rigid name. Please take a look at these photos and tell me anything you can, I'm looking particularly for a model name and price range as I would like very much to have another one of these blades.

The wrap is custom by me. It was done because the original black plastic handle broke at the end of the hilt.

If you know of any blades that are similar to this let me know as I am interested in those as well.

its apart of the Rigid Knife line by United Cutlery, its discontinued (the line that is) from what ive found this line included everything from traditional patterns to throwers, i suppose it was United's upper level of knives, cant find any catalogs, just the misc. rigid knife here and there

that is a common generic knife made by many companies- although they are getting harder to come by- you can get one made by united for around 11-16 dollars - the united model is called UC-26 - i don't think they are still made- but i have seen the same knife stamped with valor-westmark-rigid-united-hallmark- and a few others i can not think of...- taylor also i think...

sure- i had to edit my post because i think its against the rules to "deal spot" - although i don't know if what i said is considered "deal spotting " but at any rate , i'm glad to be of service - i have had a couple of those knives- cheap but nice - love the boot knife pattern...

I can't speak highly enough for this particular pattern. It's the perfect size and weight for me. I'm definitly going to be getting another similar blade now that I have a direction to look.
